The Jingle Bell Fun Run 2017 is now open for public entries.

Barshaw Park in Paisley will be jingling with the sound of Christmas bells on Sunday 3rd December as runners take part in our annual festive fun run. This year marks the 15th anniversary of our event so we’ll be celebrating the occasion with some festive surprises!. Runners will be wearing jingle bells provided by Active Communities to be part of an amazing Jingle Bell orchestra! . There are two races – a 3k run at 11am open to all runners/walkers aged 8 and over, and a 1k run at 12pm open to runners/walkers of any age, including those in buggies. Both races are set within the boundaries of the scenic Barshaw Park in Paisley.  It is always a fantastic, local, festive event for all the family, so why not come along and join in the fun. All race finishers will be rewarded with special 15th anniversary commemorative medals.

There will also be spot prizes for best dressed participants, Carol Singers, Face painting, Miniature Train Rides and more!  The online price for the 3k run is £4 for those aged 8-17 and £6 for those aged 18 and over. The online price for the 1k run is £4 for all ages.

Please note: Spaces are limited so we would encourage you to sign up online now. Last year our event filled up very quickly so please act now to avoid disappointment.

The event is run under the Association of Running Clubs (ARC) rules and the organisers are being assisted by a number of voluntary marshals.  Race Numbers are to be collected on the day from the Gazebo at the Start area within Barshaw Park from 10am onwards.
